Missionary MK II Praetorian

Description

Praetorians are advanced arcane powered mechanical suits of armour. The arcane core housed in each Praetorian greatly reduces its weight and multiplies the strength of the pilot inside, allowing a pilot to operate the massive suit of mechanical armor to devastating effect on the battlefield. The Kingdom of Celesia prevailed in the Dragon War in large part thanks to these suits, and they remain central to the Kingdom’s military doctrine. An attack from a Praetorian weapon will all but obliterate anything on the battlefield besides another Praetorian. As a result, Praetorians have gone on to become critical tools of war for every nation, as little else but a Praetorian can engage hostile Praetorians.

The Missionary MK II Praetorian is the most widely used medium Praetorian by the Kingdom of Celesia. The Missionary MKII has proven to be reliable, easy to produce, and can be found in great numbers throughout the Kingdom. Distributed throughout the Kingdom to garrison forces, it is the first Praetorian Celesian Pilots learn to use. This versatility means that regardless of where a Missionary is stationed, any Celesian pilot will be well trained in its use.

The MK II Missionary was developed based on the early MK I Missionary that was used in the Dragon War. The MK I was slightly faster due to its lighter armour, however after the conclusion of the Dragon War Celesian military doctrine began to favour defence. As such, a redesign of the Missionary was commissioned that incorporated thicker armour and a larger shield. Missionary MKII’s are by default armed with a Praetorian Sword and Kite Shield, but many other armaments combinations exist to allow this basic Praetorian to be outfitted to complement the fighting style of its Pilot.

Limited Edition Bonus: The first 50 Missionary MK II’s will contain a limited edition Missionary MK I Unit Statistics Card that allows them to be used as Missionary MK I’s in Kingdom & Empire.

The Missionary MK II stands at 77mm (3.03 inches) tall when assembled, translating to approximately 12 feet tall in Kingdom & Empire game scale.

Note: Our resin miniature parts come ready to prime and do not need to be washed first. Also, please take extra care in trimming resin parts. These are very finely detailed miniatures and patience and care in trimming will help prevent accidentally damaging parts. We recommend trimming such that you leave some material on the edges to be removed by sandpaper or emery board to minimize the risk of accidentally damaging a part.
